Every polish you order from Indies Down Under is handcrafted with care by talented Aussie indie makers — and that means it takes a little longer than a big-box store. But trust us… it’s worth the wait 💅

We’re a collaborative project, working with 7–9 indie brands each month. Nothing is mass-produced — everything is made-to-order and shipped from one central location. The process is magical, but it does take time.

All polishes arrive at IDU HQ before we package and ship them to you

Delays can happen due to postage issues, supply shortages, or unexpected life moments

🛍 What Happens Each Month

Makers Create & Send for Swatching
Testing, perfecting, and getting those gorgeous promo shots
⏰ Begins 4–6 weeks before pre-order opens

Swatching & Promo Prep
Photos are taken and returned. Website listings and social media are prepared.
⏰ 3–4 weeks before pre-order
⏰ All promo is due 1 week before launch

Pre-Orders Open
You shop the collection! Every polish is made just for you.
⏰ Open for 1 week

Orders Sent to Makers
Once the shop closes, order totals are shared with each brand to start production.
⏰ 1–2 days after pre-orders close

Makers Mix, Bottle, Label & Post to HQ
Each maker gets to work creating and shipping their polishes to us.
⏰ 1–2 weeks + postage time

Packaging & Shipping
Everything is packed and shipped from IDU HQ with love!
⏰ Shipping begins around 4 weeks after pre-orders close
