✨ About Indies Down Under

Indies Down Under is a collaborative event featuring some of Australia’s most creative indie nail polish makers and small businesses. Beginning in March 2021, we’ve hosted monthly sales events where each participating brand creates exclusive nail polish shades and nail art/care items inspired by a central theme. These one-of-a-kind products are available for just one week only, starting on the second Friday of each month.

Our very first collaboration, launched on 12th March 2021, kicked off with the fitting theme Australiana. Since then, we’ve explored a variety of fun and creative themes—like Gemstones, Birds, Aussie Films, Star Signs, Cocktails, and more. Themes are often voted on by members of our Indies Down Under Facebook Group, so the community always has a voice!

🛁 Not Just Nail Polish

It’s not only about polish! Many brands also create themed extras—like cuticle oils, hand creams, soaps, skincare, or other special treats. As long as it ties into the month’s theme, it’s fair game and always a welcome surprise.

🖐️ Handmade & Made to Order

All products at Indies Down Under are pre-orders, meaning they’re made especially for you. Once the sale closes, we send order totals to each maker, who then gets to work handcrafting your items. Everything is then shipped to us for sorting and dispatch to customers—true small-batch magic from start to finish.
