✨ What is Indies Down Under?
Indies Down Under is a monthly sales event showcasing exclusive handmade indie nail polishes and products from a talented group of Australian indie makers. Launched in March 2021, each event runs for 7 days only, featuring a brand-new range of exclusive products inspired by a unique theme.
Every two months, we release a fresh collection based on a theme voted on by members of the Indies Down Under Facebook group, ensuring our community helps shape the magic each time.
💅 Why is everything a Pre-Order?
All products are sold as pre-orders, meaning they are custom-made just for you! After the sale closes, Indies Down Under tallies the total orders and sends them to each maker, who then handcrafts your polishes and products. Once everything is ready, it’s shipped to the Indies Down Under team for packing and posting. Shipping begins approximately 4 weeks after the sale closes.
🌍 Do you ship internationally?
For the first 3 years, Indies Down Under shipped exclusively within Australia. In January 2024, we proudly began trialing shipping to the USA with the help of a partnering business. If demand continues to grow, we’ll explore expanding international shipping even further in future events. CURRENTLY PAUSED - please check back as we are in the process of securing International Shipping on a permanent basis!
📦 Do you combine shipping?
Yes! If you place multiple orders within the same sale period, we’ll automatically combine them and refund any excess shipping fees.
🔄 Can I cancel or change my order after purchase?
Because all products are made to order, cancellations or changes are only possible before the sale closes. After that point, all sales are final.
💸 What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal & Afterpay at checkout for easy and secure payment.
🎨 Can I request custom polishes or products?
Indies Down Under features exclusive products made specifically for each event. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate custom orders at this time.
🚚 How will I know when my order has shipped?
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is on its way!
